San Antonio Attorney Richard Orsinger Named Texas Supreme Court Course Director
SAN ANTONIO – Accomplished Texas appellate attorney Richard Orsinger of San Antonio has been named the director for the upcoming "Practice Before the Texas Supreme Court" course sponsored by the State Bar of Texas and the Bar's Appellate Section.
Mr. Orsinger is a name partner and the San Antonio office leader for the Family Law Firm Orsinger Nelson Downing & Anderson L.L.P.
The popular Texas Supreme Court course is scheduled for April 12, 2013, at the Mansion at Judges' Hill in Austin. Individual presentations by Supreme Court of Texas Justices Nathan L. Hecht, Eva Guzman, Jeffrey S. Boyd and Don R. Willett are among the event highlights.
"An extensive amount of experience will be featured during each and every presentation," says Mr. Orsinger. "When you truly want insight that will help your appellate practice, who better to learn from than the Justices themselves?"
A companion course, "The History of Texas Supreme Court Jurisprudence," co-sponsored by the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, will be held April 11. Among the highlights, Mr. Orsinger will present the "170 Years of Texas Contract Law."
